Job Description- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Conduct assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient and develop individualized therapy plans aimed at enhancing their functional abilities
- Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based strategies to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities for your patients
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers on effective therapy techniques to foster continual progress beyond the therapy sessions
- Track and Record Progress: Monitor patient development meticulously, documenting progress and adjusting treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Additional certifications or continuing education opportunities encouraged and available
- Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
