Office Location: Salisbury Coverage area: Rowan County
Schedule: Part Time, 20 hrs/week

ResponsibilitiesAs a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:
- Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
- Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
- Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
- Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
- Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy
- Minimum of Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- A minimum of one (1) years work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
