Qualifications
  • Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state
  • Experience working with children in school or pediatric settings (preferred)
  • Knowledge of motor development, assistive devices, and accessibility modifications
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and other service providers
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess students gross motor, mobility, and physical functioning needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students in the school setting
  • Train staff and families on positioning, mobility strategies, and assistive equipment
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
