Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions aimed at mobility enhancement, strength improvement, balance restoration, and functional independence
  • Engage in collaborative practice with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
  • Guide patients and families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and home exercise routines
  • Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to create a cohesive care approach
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) considered a plus but not mandatory
Skills
  • Previous experience highly preferred
