Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies designed to help them meet their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Sessions: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
  • Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to encourage progress outside the therapy space
  • Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on the right path
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Ongoing education or relevant post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Required Licenses
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
