  • Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintain precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on advancements in teletherapy and treatment methodologies.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
