A school district in San Mateo, CA is seeking five licensed Speech Language Pathologists for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an onsite contract opportunity serving a diverse K-12 student population. The position offers 35-40 hours per week and direct caseload management in the school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California Speech Language Pathologist License (Clinical Fellowship accepted)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
- Provide direct speech and language services to students across grades K-12
- Maintain accurate documentation and caseload data in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Communicate progress and recommendations with parents, teachers, and administration
