We are housed in a brand-new outpatient gym where our rehab team is committed to community outreach including hosting a monthly stroke support group. We offer one-on-one patient interactions, a strong team culture, rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth and development. We balance new techniques and specialties including dry needling, certified hand therapy, and FEES, with a personalized, community-focused approach to healthcare.

How you will contribute

A Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role\:

Selects appropriate activities suited to patients physical, mental, and social abilities and adapts program in response to patient and/ or family goals.

Schedules patients, or assists secretary with, in relation to customer service policy.

Supervises students as needed.

Documents patient treatments daily, submit quarterly status reports, and completes D/C summaries.

Demonstrates proper respect and attitude towards customers and co-workers. Displays courtesy, professionalism and sound communication skills.

What we are looking for

A completed a Masters degree

Current VA Speech-Language Pathologist license.

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by ASHA preferred.

Completes obligatory hospital in-services and continuing education for licensure.

BLS required within 30 days of hire.
