Job Duties

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs to create personalized therapy strategies that assist them in reaching their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living abilities in patients
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage actively with OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded approach to care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapeutic methods to promote continued progress outside of clinical settings
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain momentum

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Commitment to ongoing education or obtaining post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
