• Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing both standardized evaluations and hands-on observation.

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capacities.
• Forge collaborative partnerships with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to design cohesive care approaches.
• Educate both patients and family members to foster progress outside of clinical appointments.
• Conduct occasional evaluations and interventions in inpatient settings, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Adhere to precise and timely documentation practices in line with all state and federal regulations.

Educational Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if awaiting ASHA certification.

Licensures and Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) authorized by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within the first month of employment.
