Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a K-12 school setting located in Tomball, TX. This onsite position offers a contract through the current school year (CSY), providing a focused opportunity to support students' communication development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language testing to assess student needs Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to collaborate on individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide targeted speech and language therapy to K-12 students Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Qualifications and Experience: Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with school-aged children across grades K-12 Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques Ability to work independently in an onsite school environment Comfortable managing full therapy caseload without Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support Additional Details: Part-time position at 0.5 FTE Onsite presence required for all duties including ARD meetings, testing, and therapy sessions Contract duration aligns with the current school year (CSY) Potential opportunity to convert to a variable basis if program staffing needs shift This role is ideal for a skilled SLP eager to contribute to student success through direct therapy and collaborative planning within a school setting.
