Occupational Therapist School Setting in Jarratt, VA

This position is essential in supporting students' developmental and functional needs across elementary and secondary levels, promoting their success both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 50-60 students. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Conduct assessments and document therapeutic interventions in compliance with school policies. Provide training and guidance to school staff on strategies to support student outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to provide therapy in home health, healthcare, and school environments. Experience working with K-12 populations is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of educational and developmental principles affecting children and adolescents. Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Work Schedule and Duration: Contract duration from ASAP through 5/20/2026. Elementary school hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Secondary school hours: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm. Position will involve working within the public school calendar year (CSY).
