Your Role as a COTA
Assist Occupational Therapists with implementing individualized care plans
Support residents in daily living activities and rehabilitation exercises
Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with state and facility guidelines
Encourage residents to reach their highest level of independence
Collaborate with the rehab team, nursing staff, and families to promote successful outcomes
