The College of Professional Studies at Shawnee State University is seeking qualified individuals beginning Summer '24 and/or Fall '24 Semesters to serve as needed Respiratory Therapy Clinical Supervisors in the Department of Allied Health. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis.

This is an open posting maintained and updated every semester based upon the enrollment needs of the Department, and as such, are filled on an as-needed/ongoing basis every semester. The minimum starting rate of pay is $28.00 per hour.

- Teaching experience in related discipline is preferred
- One to three years of work experience in Respiratory Therapy is required
- Professional certification/State licensure/RRT credentials*/minimum of Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy
- *MUST be RRT credentialed
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE)
Qualifications can vary depending on experience and courses or programs, but include the following:
- Associate, Bachelor's, Master's degree in the respective discipline or related area
- Ability to use technology in teaching and healthcare settings
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
- Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multicultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening - daytime availability a plus (in some cases may be required)
- Ability to work in the clinical setting and maintain health and shot records/background checks and drug screens as required by the clinical facility
