Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders .
  • Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and other respiratory treatments .
  • Operate and maintain ventilators and life-support equipment .
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health and disease management .
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams .
  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols .
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program .
  • Certification:
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (as required per facility).
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in respiratory care.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management .
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities .
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills .
  • Travel Readiness: Willing to relocate temporarily for travel assignments.
