Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or disability. This role involves using therapeutic activities to help patients regain and maintain the skills needed for daily living and work, serving both acute care and nursing home settings in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients in acute care and nursing home environments. Screen patients and actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress. Complete thorough documentation including evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, insurance forms, and discharge summaries. Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and service continuity. Conduct outpatient evaluations and treatments as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism. Qualifications and Experience: Master of Occupational Therapy degree required; Doctorate preferred. National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy. Valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license with up-to-date continuing education. Valid driver's license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation and patient care.
