School Audiologist - Grandview, MO

What Youll Bring:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
• Valid audiologist license for the state (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive auditory evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized audiology plans in conjunction with IEP teams
• Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and families to address students unique auditory needs
• Recommend and assist with hearing aids, FM systems, and other assistive hearing technologies
• Provide training and resources to staff and parents regarding hearing health and accommodations
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
• Participate in meetings and contribute to student case reviews as needed
