- Proficiency in current audiological equipment and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, screenings, and evaluations in compliance with school policies
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address hearing and listening needs for students
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports in line with district requirements
- Provide guidance to teachers, staff, and parents regarding appropriate classroom accommodations
- Collaborate with IEP/504 teams on student progress, intervention strategies, and goal planning
- Engage in student and staff education about hearing health, care, and safe listening practices
- Assist with fitting, maintenance, and monitoring of assistive listening devices
