Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Audiologist
- Knowledge of school-based hearing screening protocols
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in educational settings preferred, but not required
- Team-oriented mindset, comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform hearing evaluations and manage audiological caseloads for students
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans for each students needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Educate staff and families on hearing health and assistive technology
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive listening devices
- Serve as a resource for school personnel on audiological issues
