Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure in Audiology (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric audiology, including use of diagnostic equipment and hearing aid technology
  • Familiarity with IDEA, IEP processes, and providing direct/indirect services in a school environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hearing screenings, comprehensive auditory evaluations, and assessments for students
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning outcomes
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals related to hearing and auditory processing
  • Recommend, fit, and adjust assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and FM systems for students as needed
  • Provide consultative support, teacher/staff training, and family education on hearing loss and classroom strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, evaluations, and student progress
