divdivpOccupational Therapist Assistant Duties include /p/divdivdivullipUtilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. /p/li/ul/divdivullipProvides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist. /p/li/ul/divdivullipAdministers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc. Under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist. /p/li/ul/divdivullipAssesses patient's progress and communicates with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. /p/li/ul/divdivullipReports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to supervising Occupational Therapist. /p/li/ul/divdivullipProvides consultation and to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the cognitive and/or physical disorders. /p/li/ul/divdivullipEffectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. /p/li/ul/divdivullipProvides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements. /p/li/ul/divdivullipDocuments all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy. /p/li/ul/divdivullipAccurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements. /p/li/ul/divdivullipParticipation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc. /p/li/ul/divdivullipParticipate in facility and company required trainings, in-services and conferences. /p/li/ul/divdivullipAble to work with supervising Occupational Therapist to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. /p/li/ul/divdivullipAble to supervise and support students under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist. /p/li/ul/divdivullipAdherence to NBCOT / AOTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. /p/li/ul/divdivulliActive State Licensure/Registration when applicable. /li/ul/div/div/divh6br/h6brRequirement description : ulli1 years of OTA experience - iREQUIRED /i/liliLTC or Rehab Experience - Required/liliCOTA license- Required/liliMust be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected /li/ulbrSTATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : ulliMissouri/li/ulbrADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : brWeekend Requirements : No WeekendsbrOn Call Requirements : No Call
