Essential Background:

• Active state licensure as a COTA required
• Prior experience or strong interest in working within K-12 educational settings
• Understanding of common school-based OT interventions and student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable utilizing Zoom for virtual interviews

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy support under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Address typical COTA caseloads, providing services to students across various ages and grade levels
• Assist in implementing individualized educational programs (IEPs), documenting student progress, and supporting therapeutic goals
• Adapt activities and environments to support student participation in classroom and school routines
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student independence and success
