Occupational Therapist

LOCATION: Temple, TX CLIENT: Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation
SETTING: Inpatient Rehab START DATE: 6/15 GUARANTEE: 40hrs sched. If low census/cancelations & provider doesn't stay, only actual hours will be bill/paid. ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 13 weeks REQUESTED EXPERIENCE: 1+ yrs of exp requested (must have IP Rehab exp) STAFF: Join team of therapists EMR: EPIC (experience is a plus) CASELOAD / PATIENT SCHEDULING: up to 8 PPD - 45 min treatments SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, possibly weekend coverage ADDITIONAL INFO: Temple is a 45-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital .
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: TX license, RTO, Acute/EPIC exp COVID VACCINE REQUIRED? Exemption accepted TAKE HOME: BILL RATE: up to $79BR DOE + Select 5% fee
Select MSA terms -

• **1st day is unbillable orientation
• OT isn't paid out until after 48hrs. OT rate will be same as BR in placement since we don't have providers working 48+hrs per week.
• Any OT must be approved by their manager beforehand.
• Expectation is that documentation is to be done at point of service for all travelers and perm employees.
• 2 week notice for client/provider if 2 week notice isn't given we are obligated to pay the client 72hrs at contracted rate. If client doesn't give notice we obtain credit for 72hrs.
• Any RTO that is not confirmed needs to be approved with manager 30 days prior.
• If census is low or PT has cancelations, expectation is for provider to ask what they can do to at the facility to get hours. If they do not want to help out in order to hit their GTE only actual hours will be billed/paid.
• If clinic is closed/closes early or has delayed start due to inclement weather only actual hours will be billed.
