Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant Job Description

Join Our Team at Lebanon Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Lebanon Center, a leading skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals recovering from illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of rehabilitation programs

Conduct patient evaluations, including range of motion assessments, strength evaluations, and gait analysis

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and education on proper use of equipment

Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobilization

Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team members

Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field

Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of [State]

1-2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Basic life support (BLS) certification
