About IMTI
IMTI is a performance and recovery institute focused on advanced soft tissue therapy and functional training for athletes, active adults, and individuals dealing with chronic pain. We combine hands-on therapy, movement assessment, and performance training to deliver real results and long-term solutions for our clients.
Position Overview
IMTI is seeking experienced Massage Therapists (both full-time and part-time) who specialize in pain management and sports-focused bodywork. The ideal candidate has a strong manual therapy background, is passionate about client outcomes, and enjoys working within an integrated performance and rehab team.
You will work closely with coaches and other practitioners to deliver high-quality sessions, document client progress in our CRM, and actively contribute to the overall client experience at IMTI.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level, results-oriented massage therapy sessions focused on:
Pain management
Sports massage
Deep tissue
Myo-fascial techniques
(Rolfing or structural integration experience is a strong plus)
Conduct thorough client intakes and reassessments to understand goals, pain patterns, and sport- or activity-specific demands.
Collaborate with IMTI performance coaches and staff to align treatment plans with training and recovery protocols.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional, welcoming presence for all clients and visitors.
Accurately document client sessions, progress notes, and recommendations in IMTI’s CRM and scheduling systems.
Educate clients on self-care, recovery strategies, and how IMTI’s services can support long-term performance and pain reduction.
Participate in occasional team meetings, in-service trainings, and performance lab or event support as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment in accordance with IMTI standards and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
Current California Massage Therapy License (CAMTC) or equivalent required.
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in massage therapy, with a focus on:
Pain management
Sports massage
Deep tissue
Myo-fascial techniques
Rolfing or formal structural integration training/experience is a plus.
Proven history of working with athletes, active adults, or clients with complex pain/injury histories.
Comfortable using basic technology for scheduling, charting, and client communication (experience with CRM or EMR systems preferred).

Schedule and Compensation
Openings for both full-time and part-time roles.
Flexible scheduling within IMTI operating hours, including potential evenings and Saturdays based on demand.
