Key Skills & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Current state licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will also be considered
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students unique needs
  • Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy services as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other support professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing staff training sessions
