Key Skills & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Current state licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will also be considered
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students unique needs
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy services as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other support professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing staff training sessions
