Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Michigan SLP license and current ASHA CCC (or CFY with supervision)
- Prior experience working in a school setting with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create a welcoming and effective therapy environment for diverse learners
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate therapy records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
