Key Qualifications:

  • Active Mississippi SLP License (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Proficiency in assessments, evaluations, direct therapy, and participation in IEP meetings
  • Comfortable delivering services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments and formal evaluations for students across multiple schools
  • Design and deliver targeted therapy sessions based on each students unique goals and IEP requirements
  • Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
  • Consult and coordinate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Adapt intervention approaches for a variety of disabilities, focusing on mild to moderate needs within both general and special education
  • Participate in engaging, conversational interviews with school administration
