Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with a temporary state license
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech, language, or communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Provide direct therapy services to students through individual and group sessions
- Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings as required
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Participate in professional development and supervision as part of the CFY process
- Engage in ongoing communication with mentors and supervisors for guidance and feedback
