The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions.

This role supports adult outpatient pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation. The schedule includes two fixed workdays on Tuesday and Friday, with shifts of ten (10) hours per day.
Position is Part Time, 0.75 FTE, Day Shift, 30 hours per week. Located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska!

Required Qualifications:
- National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or,
- National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or,
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 5 years - Experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree - in Respiratory Care.
