Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY) for the 2026-27 school year. This role offers the chance to make meaningful impact across multiple educational settingsPreK, elementary, middle, and high schoolwhile working with a diverse caseload of 50-55 students each week. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll be collaborating with passionate educators and families in dynamic communities throughout Vanceboro, New Bern, Havelock, and neighboring areas including James City, Newport, Merrimon, Emerald Isle, and Cedar Island. Desired qualifications: Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligible) SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year status accepted Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Knowledge of teletherapy practices welcomed Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage diverse caseloads across PreK, elementary, and secondary populations Passion for supporting students with a wide range of speech and language needs In this role, you will: Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students PreK through 12th grade Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress Utilize both in-person and, as appropriate, teletherapy methods for service delivery Maintain ongoing data, documentation, and compliance records Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused learning environment You'll enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within supportive school communities, experience flexible collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and have access to ongoing mentorship and resources.
