* - Provide safe rehabilitation environment.
* - Perform therapeutic procedures and exercises.
* - Instruct and encourage patients.
* - Assess patient health.
* - Document care services.
* - Contribute to PT effectiveness.
* - Perform duties per professional ethics code.
* - Communicate treatment plans effectively.
Certifications/Requirements
* - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure required.
* - Associate degree from APTA-accredited PTA program.
* - CPR/BLS certification.
* - Pass Physical Therapist Assistant Examination (PTAE).
Experience
* - Associate degree from accredited PTA program.
* - 2+ years direct patient care preferred.
* - 1-2 years healthcare experience beneficial.
* - State licensure required.
