Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Experience working in inpatient rehab or hospital-based rehabilitation preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation system preferred.
- Ability to perform patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and provide family/patient education.
- Comfort working in a unit with typical IPR gym equipment including balance and gait systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced hospital environment preferred.
- Experience with inpatient patient ratios around 7:1 preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1700.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Weekend rotation and call requirements as part of unit staffing.
- Unit: Inpatient rehabilitation, approximately 30 beds and a clinical team including PT/OT/SLP/tech staff.
