Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025/26 academic year. This position will run from August 2026 through May 2027 and will serve students in various school settings near Morris, IL. We're seeking 1-2 experienced SLPs, experienced in a school environment, who are passionate about supporting student communication success. You'll provide essential speech and language services across different caseloads: Morris Caseload: Serve 39 students, including 33 receiving direct therapy and 6 on a consultative basis. Locations may include GCSEC, Nettle Creek, and TLC (consult only). Minooka Caseload: Support students within the Autism program, with 6 at Minooka Intermediate and 15 at Walnut Trails. These assignments are high-minute, focusing on students with intensive needs. Key Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CCC-SLP certification Illinois state SLP licensure (or eligibility) Minimum 1 year of school-based SLP experience required Strong ability to manage both direct therapy and consult caseloads Compassionate, organized, and collaborative with school staff and families Responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services Maintain accurate and timely documentation Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents Participate in meetings and professional development as required This full-time assignment offers 32.5-37.5 hours weekly, allowing you to make a daily difference while honing your craft in supportive school communities.
