Pay Range: $41.44 - $67.44 per hour

Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of Physical Therapy (PT) service delivery including evaluation, intervention planning, implementation, and reviewing outcome evaluation. Actively involved in educational opportunities. Manages daily clinical operations in collaboration with manager. Demonstrates clinical excellence in area of responsibility. Acts as a leader in department activities including program development, staff training and advocacy in and outside of Rush. The Physical Therapist is an active participant in the interdisciplinary team. The PT meets the requirements of all internal and external regulatory bodies. The supervisor exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values of care and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Graduate of CAPTE accredited physical therapy program.
Active Illinois State License for Physical Therapist
Meets all state regulatory requirements
Basic computer skills
At least 5 years of experience as a physical therapist
Team oriented with commitment to diversity and inclusion with patients and coworkers

Develops and implements the intervention plan in collaboration with all team members.
Selects, implements, and makes modifications to therapeutic activities and interventions that are consistent with patient goals and their social cultural context.
Demonstrates competency in providing evaluation and treatment in at least one non-primary section of the Physical Therapy Department.
Maintains departmental productivity standards.
Demonstrates ability to safely lift and/or move therapy equipment.
Demonstrates safety in performing all patient functional mobility using correct body mechanics, supportive lifting equipment, and/or use of support personnel.
Demonstrates the ICARE values with patients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary team members.
Adheres to policies and procedures.
Maintains accurate and timely patient record.
Identifies and develops continuous quality improvement processes needed in collaboration with manager.
Provides proof of completed documents related to health and education requirements

Identifies problems as they arise and seeks to problem solve solutions independently.
Balance and prioritize patient care treatment with supervisor responsibilities.

Coordinates scheduling of work assignments
Coordinates patient scheduling
Completes annual performance appraisals with input from manager
