Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Location: Casper, WY Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in a home-based setting. This role plays a key part in helping patients improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance overall quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities: Administer physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide non-complex therapeutic treatments including active and passive exercises, massage, traction, and modalities such as heat, cold, light, water, and electrical therapy. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care (daily, weekly, and monthly reports). Participate in educational meetings and contribute to internal training sessions. Report any patient condition changes, equipment issues, or supply needs to appropriate leadership. Manage patient scheduling and assist with administrative/office tasks as needed. Follow infection control and universal precaution protocols during all patient interactions. Accept and perform clinical assignments within scope of training and competency. Support compliance with regulatory and payer requirements through proper documentation and communication. Required Qualifications: Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active state PTA license. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Current CPR certification. Work Environment: Home health setting focused on senior care. Requires travel within the assigned service area. Collaborative, patient-centered team environment.
