Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Bowling Green, KY. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a long term acute care hospital setting. This role emphasizes patient and employee safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Kentucky Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience assessing patient functioning, developing individualized treatment plans, completing timely documentation, and participating in interdisciplinary team processes.
  • Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT/COTA students or willingness to supervise.
  • Ability to participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
  • Experience in acute care, long term acute care, or similar complex care settings is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with safe patient handling techniques and materials handling protocols.
  • Experience working within quality improvement initiatives and compliance with safety policies.

Assignment Details

  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 day schedule.
