Part-time, approx. 20 hours per week

Schedule will be during the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing various therapy treatments and documentation under direction of a Licensed Occupational Therapist within the home setting for home care clients with disease/disability on an internittent basis in accordance with the plan of care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.
Current license to practice in Oklahoma
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Current CPR certification
Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or > 100 lbs.) for most of the shift.
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally.
Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping.
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients
Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and complete the necessary work schedule
Able to work in latex-burdened environment
