Physical Therapy Assistant Job in Winchester, New Hampshire

Ref #: C-PTA-9113743 Join a contract/travel team in Winchester, NH as a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment beginning ASAP. This full-time role follows a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,432/35 hrs; Local rate $1,411/35 hrs. Required: Current, active state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Key responsibilities: Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations by collecting medical histories, measuring progress, and assisting with goal setting. Implement prescribed interventions, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. Operate therapeutic equipment safely and according to protocol. Instruct patients and caregivers in exercise techniques and home programs to promote recovery and long-term function. Accurately document treatments, responses, and progress in patient records. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and refine treatment plans. Maintain safety and infection-control standards in the therapy environment. Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout rehabilitation. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
