We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a rewarding school-based opportunity in Rockford, Illinois . This full-time, in-person role offers strong hourly compensation, consistent weekly hours, and the chance to tailor your caseload based on your experience and preferences. Position Overview The School Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting student evaluations and delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services. You will develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care in compliance with physician orders, educational guidelines, and professional standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide direct therapy services in a school setting Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and district requirements Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Assignment Details Location: Rockford, IL Setting: In-person, school-based Caseload: TBD, based on experience and preference Start Date: August 24, 2026 Contract Length: 36 weeks Hours per Week: Minimum 35 hours; most clinicians work 37.5-40 hours weekly Pay: Up to $80 per hour Minimum Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Illinois CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state or contract Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR certification , if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable Current health certificate per state regulation or contract Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age This position is ideal for an SLP seeking stability, meaningful work, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in a school community.
