Speech Pathology - Bridgeport, CT

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Eligibility for Connecticut state licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience working in schools or with K-12 students is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate communication goals across settings
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized education plans
• Support student participation and social-emotional development through targeted speech-language interventions
