Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or outpatient musculoskeletal settings preferred.
• Familiarity with common outpatient modalities and equipment, including therapeutic ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, whirlpool, and wheelchair fittings.
• Ability to implement treatment plans established by a Physical Therapist and document patient progress according to clinic standards.
• New graduates considered. Previous clinical experience with gait training, balance and coordination exercises, and functional mobility training is preferred.
