Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a Physical Therapist for our client in Summersville, WV!

Type: 3 + months, with potential for extension

Pay: $57 to $59/hr

Location: Coverage areas: Fayette County, Nicholas County

Schedule: 8 am to 4:30 pm; Monday - Friday

Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient.

On Call/Weekend Requirement: rotation between PT's

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:

Evaluates the patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs. Assists the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care

Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of occupational therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.

Observes and reports the patient's response to treatment and any changes in his/her condition to the supervising nurse and/or the physician.

Instructs and informs participating members of the health care team, the patient, and the family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress towards goals.

Visits patients according to plan of treatment,pletes a progress note for each visit, and submits progress notes per LHC policy.

Completes all patient evaluations and develops the OT plan of care within state specific guidelines

s oues of evaluation, goals, and anticipated projected frequency of care.

Qualifications for the Physical Therapist:

Home health experience

Physical Therapy License
