Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Buckeye, AZ Full-Time School Position

.A supportive PreK-8 district in Buckeye, Arizona is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will primarily support students in a self-contained developmental program with possible additional support at the preschool level.

Position Details:

• Location: Buckeye, AZ
• School Year: August 5, 2026 May 20, 2027
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Hours: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
• School Sites: Approximately 2 sites within the district
• Student Population: PreK-8
• Caseload Model: Caseload-based

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Support students with developmental, sensory, and motor skill needs
• Assist with implementing individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
• Maintain documentation and collaborate with educational staff
• Help create a positive and supportive learning environment for students

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona COTA license required
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
