Job Description
READS Collaborative is seeking an occupational therapist/occupational therapy assistant to provide direct OT services to elementary, middle, and high school students in a local school district for the extended school year. Flexible hours and competitive pay in a supportive environment. ESY program runs from July 7th through August 6th.

The following outline of the role and responsibilities is intended to provide a broad overview, but is subject to change according to the needs of the school district, as required by the Superintendent of Schools.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
Adapt instructional techniques to the age and skill levels of students.
Maintain thorough student records to document attendance, participation, and progress, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
Use data to write students' progress notes for students with IEPs
Prepare lesson plans in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the functional abilities or needs of students.
Establish and maintain standards of behavior to create safe, orderly, and effective environments for learning.
