Job SummaryThe Program Coordinator/Instructor of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, leadership, supervision, and administrative duties related to the PTA Program, as well as providing instruction for students enrolled in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. This position provides the expertise and knowledge necessary to support institutional curriculum and program objectives while ensuring compliance with accreditation, licensure, and college requirements. Assigned classes may occur during the day, evening, and/or online, with varying teaching locations including on-campus and dual enrollment sites as applicable. This is a full-time position that reports to LSCPAs Allied Health Department.

Duties may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity are required to ensure effective instruction and safe supervision of students in classroom and laboratory settings.
