Job Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Bullhead City, AZ, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Physical therapists examine each individual and develop plans using treatment techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. PTs provide care across settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics. State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Arizona Physical Therapy license required prior to the start of assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient hospital settings preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically ReDoc and MedHost preferred.
- Ability to work weekend shifts as required by the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outpatient physical therapy with caseloads of approximately 911 patients per day preferred.
- Experience working in a hospital setting with interdisciplinary teams preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours include 07:0016:00 and options of 07:0016:00 or 08:0017:00 depending on unit scheduling.
- Outpatient hours typically 08:0017:00 MondayThursday and 08:0013:00 on Friday.
- Weekend shifts are required.
