This contract role requires a dedicated clinician with the flexibility and skills to float within the hospital environment, including labor and delivery, and the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs. Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Every other weekend required Holiday rotation included No on-call required Qualifications: Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license at time of start Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC); CRT not accepted BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certificationsall current at start date Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience as RRT Ability to float to all hospital areas, including labor and delivery Experience with Epic charting preferred Block scheduling not accommodated Non-local candidates only (beyond a 60-mile radius) Must be able to accommodate all required time-off requests at submission Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy across multiple acuity levels Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders Perform treatments such as airway management, ventilator support, and patient education Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans Maintain proper documentation and utilize Epic for charting Respond proactively during hurricane season as part of emergency response teams, if scheduled Benefits & Perks: Free onsite parking Opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with 396 staffed beds Caribbean Blue scrubs provided Exposure to a broad spectrum of patient populations and clinical environments Take the next step in your career by applying nowadvance your skills and make an impact in a high-acuity hospital setting!
