Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Local & travel allowed.
12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.
12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:- Shoulder replacement/fracture repairs required.- ADL experience required: acute disorder, assessment, chronic disorder, functional activities.- Minimum of 1 year COTA at Acute Hospital
Preferred Skills/Experience:- Billing preferred.
Required Credentials:- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.- NBCOT required.
Preferred Credentials:- Manual therapy and lymphedema certifications/licenses preferred.
Special Requests:- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.- Indiana residents are considered local. Local travelers are accepted for allied positions.- IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at its facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details:- Adult and geriatric patient population.- Inpatient acute care rehab setting caring for patients across all levels of acuity from ICU to progressive care units with diagnoses including CABG and other cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinsons disease, and amputations.- Follow the plan of care including ADL training, therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities to improve function, and daily assessment of discharge disposition recommendations.
Shift & Scheduling:- Monday-Friday with one weekend day per month throughout the contract.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
