Schedule:

  • 6:00 pm 6:00 am shifts
  • Varied days with every other weekend required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
  • Valid ABG license
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Previous experience in stabilization and ventilation of neonates (NICU experience not required; ability to manage neonates until air transport arrives)
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the assignment location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed respiratory care and therapy to patients across all age groups
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations including physiological specimen collection, test interpretation, and cardiopulmonary studies
  • Manage mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airways, and respiratory technology
  • Conduct bronchopulmonary hygiene, administer pharmacological treatments, and provide cardiopulmonary rehabilitation
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment
  • Collaborate in urgent response scenarios to stabilize neonates awaiting advanced transport
